Emirates, Bank of the Future
Visitors see a tessellated wall come to life, undulating and reacting to their presence, unlocking an avatar-led experience to navigate the future of banking.
About this experience
ENBD asked us to create an immersive, interactive experience for visitors in their flagship store in Dubai. Using hidden depth sensing cameras, visitors’ appearance passing a screen initially cascades a set of geometric tiles before allowing them to gesture to explore the bank of the future in three different locations.
The undulating geometric pattern is designed to ripple and cascade upon visitor presence, recognised via hidden depth-sensing cameras. With a bank of 16 large screens combined together, with limited bezel widths, this wall seemingly comes alive when visitors pass.
Visitors then embody an avatar, and use gesture to control the skeletal tracked character on-screen, jump from location to location and explore the Bank of the Future.
Developing the technical design, visitor experience and narrative, we worked closely with Spot D, Met Studio and the team at One Small Pixel to develop this interactive experience, installed at Emirates’ flagship store in Dubai.
